“Profit is easy. Purpose is harder. But purpose is what makes people stay.”

Strategic Advisor

Hi, I'm Anjali.

I'm a tech executive, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor who thrives at the intersection of innovation, culture, and social impact. I founded Slightly Reserved, a boutique advisory and legal firm that supports visionary founders building meaningful, values-driven companies.

Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles at Google and YouTube, where I helped shape commercial and product strategy. I was the Founding General Counsel and Head of Social Innovation at Warby Parker, and later the Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Cheddar, guiding both companies through periods of rapid growth and cultural evolution.

I'm also a TED speaker with over 6 million views, the author of Stalking God, and the co-host of The Important Things podcast with Bobbi Brown. During the pandemic, I co-founded COVID Tech Connect, helping nearly 20,000 families stay connected to loved ones in hospitals.

I serve on the Board of Governors at Brown University, advise the Stanford School, and teach on occasion. My work is driven by curiosity, compassion, and the belief that business can—and should—be a force for good.

"Back bold ideas with heart."

At Mudita, I’m looking to support founders building transformational technologies with purpose at their core. I’m drawn to companies that challenge convention—where innovation isn’t just about speed or scale, but about meaning and long-term impact. With a background spanning Google, YouTube, and mission-driven startups like Warby Parker, I’ve seen how the most enduring ventures are those that pair bold ideas with deeply human values.

I’m especially interested in teams navigating complex cultural, ethical, or regulatory terrain—spaces where thoughtful strategy, diverse perspectives, and integrity are essential. I bring legal and operational experience, but also a strong instinct for product, brand, and leadership. I want to be a sounding board for founders as they make big, sometimes uncomfortable decisions, and a connector across sectors and disciplines.

Ultimately, I’m looking to invest my time and energy in people who are building not just businesses, but legacies they’ll be proud of.
